Connect360 was proud to sponsor a webinar in tandem with the Chronicle of Philanthropy this past Thursday, September 28th. The live event focused on “Getting Started with Corporate Partnerships” for nonprofit organizations and was a tremendous success, with over 500 paid registrants. Of those, more than 400 remained online and participated for the entire hour-long session!
The webinar provided insight for nonprofit professionals on how to navigate the complex world of corporate giving and form lasting ties with businesses. Specific points of interest to note that came from the presentation included;
- Tips on how to increase the odds of getting – and keeping – corporate support
- Why successful partnerships resemble strong donor relations
- Which assets corporate grant makers find valuable

C360 also surveyed all webinar attendees about “Which marketing channels they will utilize to generate awareness for their organization and cause.” Of 517 responses, over 95% responded to using social media and digital marketing as the core tactics for their strategic communications plan.
A recent analysis by Forbes showed that organizational investment in paid search, display advertising, social media advertising, online video advertising and email marketing will pace to 46% of all advertising in five years. The growth in digital and social media marketing has been extraordinary and nonprofits are clearly working to take advantage of the many platforms available to them to help generate awareness for their messages.
