Veterans Organization Raises $380,000 in Donations from PSA Campaign

 

Summary: Homes For Our Troops’ (HFOT) most recent PSA campaign raised more than awareness. It brought in more than $380,000 in donations that could be directly attributed to the Connect360 managed campaign.  By including a required field on their donation page, HFOT was able to track that these donations came specifically from individuals who had seen or heard their PSAs. These contributions make a lasting impact on the lives of our nation’s most severely injured Veterans and their families.

 

Results Tracking Reveals True Impact of PSAs

HFOT wanted more people to join their vital mission of rebuilding the lives of our nation’s most severely injured Veterans. Their heartfelt creative featured real Veterans and their families, showcasing the human impact of their criticial work.  While armed with powerful videos, this grassroots organization lacked the resources to deliver their message widely.

 

HFOT partnered with Connect360 to amplify their PSA’s reach nationwide.   Leveraging our expertise and network, we secured earned PSA coverage on leading television and radio stations in markets across the country. Recognizing the sensitivies of donated message PSAs, the campaign focused on inviting people to “join our mission” rather than directly soliciting donations.  However, a clear donation call to action was prominently featured on their webpage to guide visitors through a seamless donation process.  A required donation field indicated how the donor learned about their organization with one option being the PSAs, allowing HFOT to see tangible results from our PSA placements.

 

From the start of the campaign, HFOT had expected that the donated media value would positively impact their financials by increasing awareness without draining their modest advertising budget. What they hadn’t expected was how quickly that increased awareness would turn into donations. So far, the campaign has generated more than $380,000 in directly attributable donations.
